I am a Chicago-based writer, researcher, educator and podcaster with an insatiable curiosity. I enjoy approaching sexuality from psychological, neurological, sociological and historical angles. There’s so much to learn about our sexual selves; from how our brains work, to how we’ve created constructs for interactions, to how the lessons from the past can help us understand where we are today.

I work towards creating communities in which education and open conversation about sex can happen in a safe and welcoming environment. I’m also working to increase awareness and discussion about motherhood, depression and sex through my own experiences and the sharing of research, data and the stories of others. My main focus is the evolution of sex and sexuality throughout history. I want to share how it’s ebbed and flowed over the centuries so we can better understand where we are, and where we’re heading, by looking at our not so linear past.
